Q Across the Nation - Tampa, Florida

We’re going back in time, to the beginning of last year. Let us reminisce with you.

We got Nate, Alyssa, Tayevion, and Ethan working an event from January 26th to January 27th.

They’re way down in Tampa, Florida for the Superbowl NFL Experience.

Now, not only are they in Tampa, but they’re at Raymond James Stadium, which is THE home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The stadium is pretty cool too, for those who don’t know, it has an actual pirate ship within the stadium with a fully functioning cannon!

Dangerous? Maybe.

Awesome? Completely.

Ethan and Tayevion had plenty of work to do setting up massive booth trussing, along with tons of lights and banners for the event.

That work was NOT easy either. They had to accommodate to a tilted surface since the event was being held outside the stadium. In fact, at one point they almost had one of their carts slide right down into the lagoon!

Plus, since this was during covid, masks were worn at all times, which is not an easy thing to do for long hours in the humid heat of Florida with the sun beating down on you. Especially for people coming from Ohio! Going from 20 degrees to 80 degrees is no joke. Alyssa ended up with a nasty sunburn, and what I can only imagine (with the masks) is a very funny looking tan line across her face.

Throughout the struggles though, Alyssa stated that this event was so much fun and an awesome learning experience.

What was more fun for her was the EXTRA time they had! Being in Tampa, Florida, they obviously went and enjoyed some Disney! Disney Springs to be exact.

Alyssa says the boys seemed like they couldn’t care less about it but she was ecstatic because she, herself, is a huge Disney fan.

The best part though, was being able to be IN Tampa right as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl.

They were right outside the stadium doing tear down (taking apart and putting away their equipment) as it happened.

Even hours later, as they were back in their Air BnB they could hear the city still exploding with cheers and happy hollers. Talk about exciting!
